Rethinking measuring design quality
Accessibility isn't a checklist. It's a design constraint that, handled early, makes every decision more intentional.
The Setup
Content strategy and visual design are the same discipline viewed from different angles. Separating them is why so many websites look good in Figma and read poorly in the browser.

Going Forward
Monorepos aren't for everyone, but if you're shipping a design system alongside multiple products, the tooling overhead pays off quickly in DX consistency.
- The best handoff is no handoff. When designers and engineers share tools, language, and source of truth, the gap between intention and implementation narrows to near zero.
- Component APIs are contracts. Breaking changes have downstream consequences that ripple through teams and timelines. Versioning is not optional once you're at scale.
The teams that move fastest are rarely the ones with the most resources. They're the ones with the clearest shared understanding of what done looks like.
